Natural metal overall, control surfaces doped aluminium, all
lettering and anti-glare panel black.
One of a pair of C-47s operated by John Fairfax & Sons Ltd immediately post WW2 for delivering newspapers throughout NSW, along with four Lockheed Hudsons in similar finish. The aircraft was W/O when it crashed at Bungulla on 12 October 1950.
1/72 Airfix (Italeri). Additions: escape hatch over cockpit, cowls
reprofiled, heater inlets added to exhausts, trim tab on port aileron
